Last Week in Michigan-Sept. 12, 2016

Hey everyone! I cant believe that my mission is almost over!

This last week has been great! We have seen so many miracles. We met 2 new investigators, Crystal and Dee. We met Dee while we were contacting around our apartment building she lives in one of the other buildings. We talked to her about Christ and also the Book of Mormon. We are going to see her this next week. Crystal was found when we were on exchanges. She is a mother of 2 kids and has recently lost her grandpa. We talked to her about the Plan of Salvation. She really understood it and wants to learn more.
We then saw Sister Schopper this week and we talked to her family about family history. They all seemed very interested and knew a lot of their family members.
We also met with our investigator Josephus. He is doing good. We helped him to know how he can receive answers to his prayers and how God can help him. He is progressing so good.
Then we also met with our investigator Rose. We talked to her about the Restoration and also about prayer. She is use to praying the Catholic ways and so she is going to pray the way we taught her. She is doing great and wants to come to church to see how it is. It is exciting.
I am doing good. It is been hard to say goodbye to people but I am excited to continue my mission at home. I know that I can continue to bless people at home. I am thankful for all you guys and your support of my mission.

I want to leave you with my Testimony, I know without a shout of doubt that this church is true. It is amazing to see how people change their life's to become better and want Christ in their life. I know that Joseph Smith restored the Gospel on the earth and that he is a prophet of God. I know that Thomas S Monson is the prophet on the earth today and leads and directs us to return to live with God. I know that God lives and so does Jesus Christ. I know that we need to Trust in them and turn to them everyday. Multiple times a day. I know that our families can be sealed together for time and eternity. I know and can testify that Christ died and suffered for each of us and knows how to help us through this life in times of good and hard times. I know that God and Jesus Christ love each of us and wants us to succeed in this life. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Thanks for all that you do! Love you All!

Zone Conference!- September 6, 2016

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Labor Day!

This last week has been great!
Last Monday we held a FHE with the Grand Blanc Ward. It was a lot of fun! We had a spiritual part and then we played an activity. The ward really liked it. We also saw our investigator Josephus. He is doing good. He is going through some hard times but has been wanting to learn more about the gospel. We taught him about church and the Sabbath Day. He is going to try and make it to church.
Then Tuesday, it was Zone Conference! That was so great and amazing. I learned so much! I loved how we talked about talking with everyone and also about goals. Everyday me and Sister Howard are trying to talk to everyone. We have been working on teaching right then and getting in the door. It has been working. We have found 2 new investigators that let us right in and they want to learn more. They really got along.               Wednesday, we met with Sister Schopper and her family. We taught them the Restoration. It was great! Sister Schopper told  us of her conversion and how she knows this gospel is true. Bruce is doing amazing and is reading and understanding the Book Of Mormon really well. He wants to know all the information before he is baptized but we are working on it. The first meeting we talked about the Plan of Salvation and he really enjoyed it. We showed him the bible verses and how they talk about the kingdoms of glory. He never understood it until we explained it. The second visit, we talked to him about having faith and acting on that faith. We had our Ward Mission Leader come with us and it was great! He knows the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God.
Then we met with one of our new investigators Debra, she is catholic but wanted to learn more. We taught her the Restoration and she really understood it and wants to read the Book of Mormon. Then we met with Rose. She is one of our new investigators as well. We met her while tracting and she is interested in learning more. She has read the book of Mormon and knows it is true. We talked about the restoration and she was very interested. This week we have seen so many blessings from God. Always remember God is here for you!

I just wanted to let you all know that my Homecoming will be on Sept 18 at 9 am at 575 west 400 north, Spanish Fork Utah! Everyone is welcome to come.

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all doing good. This past week has been great!
First we found 2 new investigators this week. Bruce. He is Golden! He has learned a little bit about our religion and has a daughter that is Mormon. He even has been to church with her. We met him while tracting and he was really into learning. We talked about The Restoration and he was really interested. He then told us he had read the Book of Mormon and he knows that it is true. God does lead us to prepared people.
Second, Josephus. We had just left Specialized Training and we were Tracting, he was mowing his lawn and he stopped and we talked to him. He use to be Jehovah Witness but he isn't anymore. We talked about the Book of Mormon and he is really interested in reading it. We took a member with us and it was a great lesson. He is excited to read it and meet with us again.
Then we had Specialized Traning with President and Sister Cleveland. That was great. We laerned and applied talking with everyone. We have seen so many miracles by applying what we learned at Specialized Training.  We were also able to meet several new potentials by opening our mouth!
On Thursday it was my Return Home Temple Trip. The Temple is going to be closed when I come home so we went with the one year temple trip missionaries. It was amazing. I really love the temple and the spirit is always so strong.
We also stopped by and saw a couple Less Actives this week. We met with Sister Clardy. She has been less active and active off and on for a while. We talked about Gods love for us and how he cares for each of us. We are going back and teaching the lessons to her.

Week 2 of the Transfer Already- Aug. 15, 2016

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all doing great!

This last week has been great! President Cleveland has been talking and teaching us to talk with everyone. It has been a bit hard but we have been trying to talk with everyone. I have defiantly been able to see many miracles to talking with everyone. We have found 2 new investigators but then they decided not to want to continue to meet with us, it was hard but we are continually finding more and more people. We met with Elisabeth this week and talked about the Book of Mormon. She is very interested in learning more about it and reading it. We then went and helped a member of the ward Sister Cousins with some service. We helped her to clean her barn and fix a fence. She really appreciated us helping her. We then met with the Schopper family. We talked about the temple and the blessings we can receive from going to the temple. She is excited to go and do the work for her family. This week in studies I have been reading about teaching skills and commitments. I really like how it talks a lot about bearing testimony and promising blessings to everyone. it is something I will be working on. Other than that it has been a week of finding people to teach and blessing peoples life.
Well I hope you all have a great week!

Love you!
