3 Months!!!!
 May 25, 2015
Hey Everyone, I hope you are all having a great Memorial Day!!!!

This week has been so great.

Monday: We did our District Activity. We played chair Soccer and basketball with the District. It was a lot of fun, but very tiring. We then went to a Less Actives house and taught them a FHE on how to strengthen their family. It was so spiritual and the kids helped and participated.
After that we went finding and taught a few children about their families and how to pray it was really fun.

Tuesday:  we went to see one of our investigators Steve and taught him about praying and why we pray. The lesson went really well and we were able to feel the spirit. We then went and saw Robby one of our other investigators and taught him the plan of Salvation. He was interested and was happy to learn where we came from and where we will go. We also went and saw a Less active/Part member couple. She is a member but her husband isn't. We taught them about the restoration. It was great. She loves to talk and talk.

Wednesday: we had our district meeting and we learned how we could better help the members to share the gospel. I really enjoyed this meeting and learned how we could better help members. We then met Meghan our investigator and taught her about tithing. She is great and willing to learn and meet with us to prepare her for baptism. We also stopped and saw the McCallister family. We taught them the plan of salvation. The lesson went great. They are so smart.

Thursday: was exchanges. They were so fun. Sister Martin came down to Adrian so I was her companion. She is amazing. I just love learning from her. We were able to meet several potential investigators and to go and visit 3 of our less active members. I was able to learn how to start door approaches differently and learn how to help keep focused and on topic. She taught me how to make the restoration shorter and different ways to simplify it. We were able to teach about enduring to the end and to always keep holding to the rod.

Friday:  Today was Sister Woodruffs Birthday!!! We also did some service for a member in our ward. we helped them plant onions and pears. We also helped them plant their flowers. It was great I love serving others. Then we met with Cody, he is progressing so good. He is reading the BOM and loves to learn about the gospel. We also saw Shawn she is our recent convert. She just had surgery so we went and saw her. We talked with her about enduring to the end as well and to study her scriptures everyday.

Saturday: we met with Art. We taught him more about the restoration using some Cups we made.
The lesson seemed to go good, but we were unsure if he understood it. we will keep trying. We then went and met with 2 new investigators. Alexis and Melanie. A mom and daughter. We met the daughter while finding/tracting. We taught them about the Plan of Salvation and they were so interested. We are excited to go back.

Sunday: We went to church and 4 of our investigators came with us. It was amazing.
we saw so many miracles. We were able to meet 4 potential investigators, teach them and then make return appointments. It was amazing. God is so good.

I am doing great. I love my mission so much and just love Adrian. I am learning new things everyday.
Well I love you all and hope you have a great week!!!!!

Miracle Week!!! Week 10
May 18, 2015
Hey Everyone, this week was amazing!!!  We have seen so many miracles. We now have 6 Investigators on Baptism date.

Monday: We had our normal P-day. we just relaxed and cleaned our house. Sister Woodruff worked on her instruction for zone meeting. After we went tracting. We met a lot of great people, even though none of them really wanted to learn more.

Tuesday: was a crazy day. We had scheduled a lot of appointments with potential investigators. We met with Philip. We read the BOM with him and he is very interested in reading it and learning more. We then met with our Less active Family. We taught them about the Plan of Salvation. We went over where we came from, why we are here and where we go after we die. It was a great lesson. Then we went tracting and met Abel. He was not interested at first but we started to talk with him and he wanted to learn more. We are meeting with him this week.

Wednesday: We had Zone Meeting. I just love meetings. We learned how to use the family proclamation as door approaches. We talked about our Missionary Purpose and how we are to invite people to come unto Christ, Sister Woodruff also instructed on having Confidence with our Calling. Having Confidence in the Lord and to be a instrument in Gods hands.

Thursday: we did Service for a elderly couple in our ward. The Lichtenbergs. We helped them plant flowers in their yard. It was a lot of fun, I love helping others out, We then went and met with Kit. We read the BOM with her. At the end she told us that she wants to read the book but doesn't want to meet with us until she has read a little more about our gospel. That was a bummer but we just kept going. After Dinner we went and saw Robby. We met him last week in that group of people. We taught him the Plan of Salvation. He really enjoyed the lesson and wanted to keep learning. He wants to go back to church to be an example to his family. It was a great lesson and so spiritual.

Friday: We met Meghan. She was a referral from the Lansing Sisters. They had met with her on the bus and had been teaching her. She is now in our area. So we went to see her. We read the BOM with her. Then we invited her to be baptized. She agreed and we told her to pick a date. She picked Aug 15. It was really cool, because before we put people on date for being baptized we pray for revelation to know what date to put someone on date. We have prayed several days before and had picked that same date. It was amazing to see how God works. Next we went and saw Cody. We taught Cody the Plan of Salvation. He is so ready. He reads and asks questions and is just very interested. We taught him and then I invited him to be baptized. He accepted and is working towards July 18. I was defiantly nervous but the spirit just helped me through it. It was very spiritual.

Saturday: We met with Art and Miguel. We taught them the Plan of Salvation using a object lesson. They were interested. We then asked them to be baptized on Sept 12. We asked them and they said they would if they receive an answer if this is what God wants them to do. I know that they will receive that answer.

Sunday: Our Sabbath day was great. We got asked on the spot to bare our testimonies in Sacrament. We had not even prepared. I was supper nervous but I was able to think of the Prayer of Faith. I know that God helped me through this and when I got up there I was no longer nervous. I can defiantly see a change in myself, because before when I would talk or speak in sacrament I would just look at the paper, but today I was able to look out in the congregation and just speak and the spirit helped me.

Well that was our amazing and Miracle week. I love you all and hope you all have a great Week.

Week 9 in Michigan!!!
May 11, 2015
Hey Everyone,

This week has been great.

Monday: we had P-day and just relaxed. We then went finding and talked to a lot of great people. We even got return appointments to a couple.

Tuesday: We met with our less active Angela and her son Micheal. We helped them to better understand the Book of Mormon. We read the first chapter of Nephi with her. She really liked it and loved asking questions and we were able to help her understand it better. We then went tracting and we met James. He is going to nursing school and he was interested in learning more about the church and Jesus Christ. We will be seeing him and his wife this week.

Wednesday: We had a meeting with another less active family. The McCallisters. We taught them the importance of praying as a family and also having family scripture study. Then we went tracting. We met Mary. At first she was not too happy with us and told us what she believed, but then it was amazing to see how God works and helped her heart to soften and we were able to talk with her more about what we do and believe. She even might call us to help her move. It was a great experience to feel the Holy Ghost and to see her change to wanting to learn more. We then had our weekly Ward Correlation with our ward mission leader. It was great.

Thursday: Today we met with our new investigator Kit. We taught her about the Book of Mormon and the importance in reading it. We have another appointment with her to read it with her this week. We then went tracting, where we met with 2 great potentials. Amayia and Melissa. We showed them the Because He Lives Video and they loved it. We are going back there tonight.

Friday: We had Specialized Training. We were able to meet with our zone and also with President and Sister Gerber. It was great to be able to see Sister Cherrington again. President Gerber talked to us about How to make lessons short and simple so investigators and others can understand what we teach. He invited us to try to get a lesson down to 1 minute and then build upon that. It has been hard but we have one of the lessons down to 2 minutes so we have practicing each day. President Gerber also taught us about having Faith. Which means to have Trust in the Lord. No matter what happens.

Saturday: We met with Scott our investigator. We were planning on teaching him about the Book of Mormon. His daughter joined the lesson and we gave her a Book of Mormon as well. We taught them the importance of the Book and we then invited them both to be baptized. They said they would so they are working on being baptized on August 15.We are so excited for them. After that we met with Anne and Dave. This meeting was really cool. We met them at their apartment building and we were sitting out on the porch. We started to talk to them about the Book of Mormon, and then some of their neighbors joined in for the lesson. It was really cool to see that we were teaching 6 potential investigators. They all loved learning about the book and are looking forward to us coming back this week. 3 of them are going to try to come to church this week. Miracles are happening each day. It is great and amazing to see how the Lord helps us and prepares people so that we can teach them.

Sunday: MOTHERS DAY!!! Our ward did a mothers day program and it was really good. It made me think of all the mothers out there. Today we did some tracting and then we got to Skype our family. It was great to see everyone. thanks for all the support.

Well that was my great week.

Well I love you all. I hope you have a great week.

We taught him about the restoration, and then about the book of Mormon. He was very interested and even looked up our beliefs on the internet. He came to church yesterday. it was a great experience.

2 Month Mark!
April 27, 2015
Hey Everyone,

This week has been pretty good. It has been an adjustment from having 2 companions to only having 1 companion. But it has shown me to come out of my comfort zone.

Monday: We emailed, and then shopping, and then helped Sister Cherrington pack her stuff. It was pretty tough saying goodbye. But I will see her again.

Tuesday: After we said goodbye to Sister Cherrington we met with Dillon our investigator and taught him the Plan of Salvation. He seemed very interested and wants to come to church. It was a great lesson. We then went tracting and found a new investigator Scott. We will be teaching him this week.

Wednesday: we had District meeting. We talked about setting Goals and we also met the new missionary in our district. After that we went and met with Philip. The lesson was so spiritual. I have never felt the spirit so strong during a lesson then when we taught him. He was so ready to learn and wants to learn and pray to know. He even told us that if switching to this church means he would have to give up playing music for his other church he would do it. It was a great experience.

Thursday: we met with Dan and taught him about the Temple. He told us he wants to go to the temple. that was great news, We then went and did some service at a members home and helped them to rake some leaves and sticks from their yard. it was a lot of fun. They then told us all about Michigan and all the tourist places.

Friday: We did our weekly planning and set our transfer goals. Today was a great day. We had a meeting with a potential investigator but she wasn't home. So we decided to stop and look at streets to go tracting. We looked at the GPS and then prayed. During the pray I had the holy ghost tell me to pick Brittney St. So after the prayer we decided to go to Brittney st. Th holy Ghost was so amazing and we were able to listen and met a new investigator.

Saturday: We had a rough day. All of our appointments got canceled. We were kinda disappointed and we had a hard day. But we kept going.

Sunday: was Stake conference. Here they Broadcast it from Salt Lake. It was amazing. I loved listening to the Apostles and learning new things.

Well I love you all and have a great week.
