It has been a great study. I am learning more and more about how to become more like Christ.
Well this week my ponderizing scripture has been Moroni 10:4-5.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

It talks about how by the spirit we will know the truth of all things.

Well I hope you all have a great week!!!

Love you all!!

Spring Has Finally Came!!! April 18, 2016

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all doing good!! Spring has finally hit Michigan!!!

This last week the weather has been great. We have been in the 70s and 80s. It is great.

This last week we have seen so many miracles, Here are a few:
We were tracting in Fenton and we were led to a yellow house. We met Amy, she is looking for a church and wants to learn. She is very interested in learning what we believe and what makes our church different. We talked to her about Prophets and the Book of Mormon but we are seeing her tomorrow and we plan to teach her the Restoration. She is excited to learn and to come check our our church. She said this was a sign from God to help her with figuring out her life. We also met with Tim Bruton. He is on date to be baptized. He is doing super good. He is really trying to figure out the Book of Mormon and to understand it. He loves to be involved in the ward and he is loving church. We also were able to meet Ingrid. She use to meet with the missionaries in Europe where she is from but then moved with her husband. She welcomed us right in and we talked with her about church and the Programs our church offers. She wants her son to be involved in activities and learning about Christ. She wants to learn and try to come to church. It is great. God has blessed us with so many miracles.

This week we also met with Sister Delossantos. She is a Less Active. She is doing great. She is teaching her children about Jesus and she is praying with them. She wants what is best for them. She also has been coming back to church and she brought her Sister who is a non member. She is doing great. We want to get her to the temple. It is will amazing for her.

We also had our last interviews with President and Sister Gerber. We talked about the Talk Stay by the Tree. This is a great talk. It tells us to stay and hold on to the Iron Rod. Don't let go. It was great but sad, our new Mission President is President Cleveland. He is from California. He will be here in July. We are excited.

In studies this week I have been reading over General Conference Talks. I really love Elder Hollands talk about Keep loving, Keep trying, Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever. It was a great talk. I encourage all of you to read it!!

Ponderizing Scripture: this week I have been studying Matt: 5: 14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Well I hope you are all doing great!!! Love you all!!!

Snow, Snow, Snow- April 11, 2012

Hey Everyone!! This week has been great, except for the SNOW!! We got snow Friday Saturday and Sunday!! But luckily it has melted. Which is good.

This week has been great. We have seen lots of miracles. We found a new Investigator. Her name is June. She is a sweet older lady. She has recently been going through some hard times. She lost her Twin Sister and her Nephew so we taught her The Plan of Salvation. It was a great lesson. She really loves that she will see them again. She is doing great. We were also able to put our Investigator Tim Bruton on date for Baptism. He is super excited and ready. He loves to learn and loves to pray. He is on date for May 15. We are excited for him.

We also went on exchanges with Sister Edmond's and Sister Burleson. It was great. Sister Burleson came here and I stayed here. We were able to meet with our investigator Robin Ames. We talked to her about prayers and how she has received answers. It was great. She has been praying and wants to grow in her testimony. We also met with a Less Active Sister Delossanto. We talked to her about trails and also reviewed the Restoration with her. She is having a hard time with her foster children but she is praying with them and teaching them about Jesus. It is great.
Then we had Stake Conference and that was great. I really enjoyed the talk about remembering the times we have felt the spirit. I am working on always remembering these sweet times in my life.  We also had Zone meeting where we learned different ways to offer service and to find those that God is preparing. In Studies I have been working on the different finding approaches and working on questions. It is going great. I am learning new ways to approach people. We are doing great.

Miracle: This week we went to see our investigator Tim. We started with talking to him about the Book of Mormon, he then said that while watching conference he saw a light and it was the holy ghost conferring the truth and answering his prayers. Then we extended the invitation to be baptized. He agreed right away and knows this is how he can come closer to God. It is amazing how God answers prayers and prepares us to teach his children.

General Conference and SNOW!!!  April 4, 2016

Hey Everyone!! I hope you are all doing good and enjoyed General Conference!!
This last week has been great. I am in my new area. I am in the Grand Blanc ward. We live in Fenton and cover the bottom of the ward. It is great. It is different but great. I love Grand Blanc. My new companion is Sister Estioko and she is great. We are getting along great and seeing lots of miracles. This last week I was able to meet a couple of our investigators.         On Tuesday I was able to meet Jeff Fisher. He is a slow learner but is trying to read the Book of Mormon and we are trying to get him to pray on his knees. I was also able to meet with Tim. He is doing really good. He really wants to know the truth and is reading the Book of Mormon. He also was able to come to General Conference with us. He really enjoyed it. He really liked the talks and they answered some of his questions. I was also able to meet some of the ward members.
This ward seems great. It has been an adjustment but has been great. I am learning new members and we are finding new investigators. This week in studies I have been reading in the Book of Mormon, today I was reading about how Nephi was building the ship. He talks about how he goes and prays unto the lord and receives great things because of his faith and diligence. I know that God is there and wants us to be happy and will bless us according to our faith and diligence. Well I loved conference! The talks were great. I really loved President Monson's talk on remembering who we are and how are choices affect our destiny. He also talked about choosing the harder right instead of the easier wrong.
Here is the ponderizing Scripture I have been working on this week! Moroni 7:16 and 17.

16 For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.

17 But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him.

It talks about how we need to choose good from evil.
Well I hope you all have a great week!!
