Many Miracles From God- Aug. 22, 2016

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all doing good. This past week has been great!
First we found 2 new investigators this week. Bruce. He is Golden! He has learned a little bit about our religion and has a daughter that is Mormon. He even has been to church with her. We met him while tracting and he was really into learning. We talked about The Restoration and he was really interested. He then told us he had read the Book of Mormon and he knows that it is true. God does lead us to prepared people.
Second, Josephus. We had just left Specialized Training and we were Tracting, he was mowing his lawn and he stopped and we talked to him. He use to be Jehovah Witness but he isn't anymore. We talked about the Book of Mormon and he is really interested in reading it. We took a member with us and it was a great lesson. He is excited to read it and meet with us again.
Then we had Specialized Traning with President and Sister Cleveland. That was great. We laerned and applied talking with everyone. We have seen so many miracles by applying what we learned at Specialized Training.  We were also able to meet several new potentials by opening our mouth!
On Thursday it was my Return Home Temple Trip. The Temple is going to be closed when I come home so we went with the one year temple trip missionaries. It was amazing. I really love the temple and the spirit is always so strong.
We also stopped by and saw a couple Less Actives this week. We met with Sister Clardy. She has been less active and active off and on for a while. We talked about Gods love for us and how he cares for each of us. We are going back and teaching the lessons to her.
Then we met with Sister Rose. She is doing good. We talked about Prayer and how God loves to hear from us no matter what we are going through.
Then we went to the Zone Activity! Our zone blitzed- we all went finding and tracting in Lapeer. That was amazing. We saw a lot of miracles and were able to help the Lapeer Elders out. We met 4 potentials that were interested in learning more about the Gospel.
I am doing great! It was really good to go through the temple. I really learned and felt of Gods love. Me and Sister Howard are doing great. We are learning more and more to Open our Mouth with Everyone.. That is exciting. In Studies I have been learning more and more about testifying. That is my goal this week. to testify more. Well I hope you have a great Week. Love you all!

Week 2 of the Transfer Already- Aug. 15, 2016

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all doing great!

This last week has been great! President Cleveland has been talking and teaching us to talk with everyone. It has been a bit hard but we have been trying to talk with everyone. I have defiantly been able to see many miracles to talking with everyone. We have found 2 new investigators but then they decided not to want to continue to meet with us, it was hard but we are continually finding more and more people. We met with Elisabeth this week and talked about the Book of Mormon. She is very interested in learning more about it and reading it. We then went and helped a member of the ward Sister Cousins with some service. We helped her to clean her barn and fix a fence. She really appreciated us helping her. We then met with the Schopper family. We talked about the temple and the blessings we can receive from going to the temple. She is excited to go and do the work for her family. This week in studies I have been reading about teaching skills and commitments. I really like how it talks a lot about bearing testimony and promising blessings to everyone. it is something I will be working on. Other than that it has been a week of finding people to teach and blessing peoples life.
Well I hope you all have a great week!

Love you!

Sister Howard and I have seen so many miracles. It is amazing!
On Tuesday we met with a Potential investigator, Janice. It ended up being a meeting with her and her Pastor. That was fun! He was pretty much telling us that we were wrong and that we were going to HELL. He was trying to argue with us but we just simply told him we are not here to argue and then we testified of the Truth. Then we left. It was a fun first day for Sister Howard.
Wednesday we went and saw Sister Delossantos, s
he is a Less Active. We talked about the Plan of Salvation. We mostly focused on our life on earth and also the atonement. She has been through a lot but know the Gospel is true and is trying to come back. We also were able to meet 2 potentials named Eva and Evita. They are in the Flint area so we talked with them and sent in the referral. They want to learn about the Book of Mormon.
We then met with Sister Schopper on Friday, We talked about her receiving a patriarchal blessing and she is excited for one. It was a great lesson. She is one the road to going to the temple.
Saturday was so great helping with the service. Our mission participated in a service project for Detroit. We all went to Detroit to help them clean up 300 neighbor hoods. It was so great. We helped clean yards, trim trees, rake yards, and weed their gardens and yards. It was great to help out in the community. We also met a lady named Monica. She was the mail lady and she was super nice and interested in Learning more about the Book of Mormon and how she can raise her family better.
Yesterday we were able to see tons of miracles and we were able to find a new investigator. Her name is Debra. She is Catholic but she is interested in learning about the Book of Mormon. We are excited to go and teach her.  In studies I have been focusing on the Finding chapter and have been reading a lot about teach when you find and find when you teach. We are also using the How to begin teaching points as door approaches. It has been great.

Hey everyone! So it is time for Transfers again. Time is going by way to fast. I will not be transferred. I will be finishing my mission here in Grand Blanc. It is going to be a great Transfer. Sister Estioko will be transferred so I will be getting a new companion tomorrow.

This last week has been great. We did a lot of finding this last week and was able to meet with a couple new potentials. We met Shawn and his wife Laura. They are great. We talked to Shawn about Prophets and how we have a living prophet on the earth today. He is interested in learning more. We also talked with a man at the park named Tim, we also were able to talk about prophets and also faith in Christ. It was great. Tim was not interested but that is alright.

We then met with Sister Delossantos this last week she is a Less Active and taught her the Restoration. She has a strong testimony of Joseph Smith and how God answers prayers. We also were able to talk about Prophets she knows that President Monson is a true prophet. It was a great lesson.

We also were able to talk with a man at the Gas Station. His name is Matt. He has seen the missionaries around and we talked to him a little about what we do. He was interested and took our card. He said he would call us sometime. Other then that we tried to find new investigators. It was great. In studies I have been studying How to recognize the Spirit. I really love this chapter. I have learned more about the spirit and how I can recognize it in finding.

Well I hope you all have a great week! Love you all!
