Hey everyone, I am doing great. I am not getting transferred I will be staying in Oxford. I will be training a new Sister that gets here today. I am excited but nervous. Well here was my week:

Monday: we did our regular stuff and then we went and met with Bill.  He is doing great. we taught him about testimonies and what they are and how he can gain one. He was excited to see what he has a testimony of and how he can add to it.

Tuesday: We didn't have any appointments so we did a lot of finding. It was hot but it was fun. We were able to talk with some people but none really wanted us to come back. That is just fine we just keep going and God provides a way. 

Wednesday: We had District Meeting and we took pictures. We also talked about the members and how we can better use them to help us. it was a great meeting. After that we went and helped a member of the ward move into her new house. It was a lot of fun. Service is always a good thing to do. It makes us feel good and they really appreciate it. 

Thursday: We went and saw Ashley and her family. We talked to them about the Plan of Salvation and how we can live with God again. She really liked the lesson, even though she disagreed with parts she really understood it. It was great. Then we went to dinner at our WML house and had spaghetti. It was fun. 

Friday: We did our weekly planning and then we went and helped Peggy with her car. We helped her clean it out and helped her with some service. It was great. Then we met with Erik and discussed the talk Eternal Perceptive of the Gospel. We talked about how we need to look at the big picture and know that God is there to help us. 

Saturday: We did some Contacting. We went on main street and tried to contact people. It went pretty good. Then we walked to go finding. We had a lot of time to do this. It was fun but we were pretty tired. We also had transfer calls it is always nerve racking to get, but they are alright. I am staying here so that is good. 

Sunday: I love Sundays. Church is great, We had 2 of our
​investigators come to church and we were able to help to understand the lessons more. We then had dinner at the Palmers house and then Sister Cruz started to pack. I cant believe how time flies.

Hey everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your summer!!! This week has been great, 

Monday: We did our normal things. Laundry, shopping and emailing. Then we drove to Almont for a meeting with an investigator. He was running late and then his car broke down so we were unable to meet with him. but we went finding instead. 

Tuesday: We went finding a lot in the morning and then we went and met with our investigator Bill. We talked to him about 7 day quit smoking program and we set a date for him to be done smoking. He is very excited to be done smoking and to be able to be baptized.

Wednesday: Was Zone Meeting. I love meetings because we learn so much. At this meeting we talked about making goals, plans and to work to achieve those goals. It was a great meeting we also talked about D&C4 about how the field is already to harvest and we are Gods helpers in bringing people unto Christ. After the meeting we went and saw Bill again. We talked to him about the temple and Family History. He liked to learn about this because he has a lot of family that has passed away. He is excited to start working on it.

Thursday: We went and helped Peggy with some service. We helped her to replant some plants in her yard. Her yard is very pretty. It is almost on the lake. I will have to send a picture sometime. Anyways, we helped her and then we went to the Hurst's for dinner and then to ward correlation.

Friday: We did our weekly planning and then we went to see Jean. She is one of our newer investigators. She is always so excited to see us and wants to learn more about the Gospel. We taught her about Prayer and also about how God is our guide and he is in control of our lives. After her we went and saw Erik our Recent Convert. We talked to him about how Christ is our foundation and we need to keep our foundation strong so it doesn't fall. He is doing great.

Saturday: We went to Almont to see Holly and Sister Clark they are less actives. We first went and saw Holly. She is doing good. We talked to her about the 10 commandments and also about the priesthood. The lesson went really good. After her we went and saw Sister Clark. We got to meet her daughter and grandkids. It was fun to see the kids playing in the yard having a good time.

Sunday: Was Sister Cruz's Birthday!!! We went to church and had a great time. We talked about missionary work and member missionaries. We then came home and made cake and cheesecake for her birthday!!! Then I sang to her and we had cheesecake. It was a lot of fun!!!

Miracle Week!!!!

Hey Everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your summer!!! This week has been great!!!

Monday: We did our normal p-day things and then later that night we went and saw our investigator Bill. We taught him about the prophets and about Joseph Smith. He is doing great. This lesson helped him to understand why we have a prophet today.

Tuesday: We did our training and then we went finding. After we went finding we went and met with Jean. She is one of our new investigators this week. We talked to her about the importance of Prayer and How God is our loving Heavenly Father. She loves God and loves to learn about him. She know that he is there to help us. It was a great lesson. after her we went to dinner with the Bourrett family. We went to this pizza and pasta place it was great. The ward members here are great.

Wednesday: We went to meet with Ashley and her kids. We met her while on exchanges. She has little kids.  A 5 year old, a 3 year old and a 1 year old. So they are little. We tired to teach them about how to keep their family strong it was great. We are going back this week to see them again. They love to pray. After that we went and met with Erik. He was baptized in March. We talked to him about the Holy Ghost and how he cane use it in his life. We also talked with him about praying and reading the scriptures. After his lesson we went and saw Bill our investigator. We talked to him about the spirit and how he can recognize the spirit in his life and answers to his prayers. It was a great lesson.

Thursday: We had specialized Training with President and Sister Gerber. It was a great meeting. We learned how to better study and how to use the tools we are given to help find the lost children. President Gerber is great. He is so in touch with the spirit. We also learned about how to set Goals with our people we are teaching to help them become better and like God. It was a great meeting.

Friday: We went and helped Peggy with some service. It was great to help her get ready for her party. We helped her with her porch and helped her water her plants. I love serving others. She is always so happy and grateful for our help. Then we went and saw Bill. We helped to put him on a plan to stop smoking. We also went over the commandments with him.

Saturday: We went to Almont to meet with some appointments. When we got there, most of our appointments canceled. So by that time we were stuck because they had a parade going, so we watched the parade. it was fun to see a parade.  Then we went to a less actives house and she had some questions for us, so we answered them and taught her about the Word of Wisdom.

Sunday: We went to church and it was great. The speakers were great. They talked on technology and the use of it. The meeting was great. Then we came home and did our studies and then went finding. It was a great day to go finding. It was not too warm but not cold.

Hey everyone this week has been great!!

Monday: We has our p-day!! We did our normal things. Then we went and met with Bill our investigator that is on date for baptism for August 16. We reviewed with him about the Restoration and the importance of it. We used this cups we made. He really understood it better with a visual aid. 

Tuesday: We had exchanges!!! We had Sister Wood and Sister Landeen come down to our area. It was great. I first went with Sister Landeen to see a Less Active. We couldn't find her house so we went and talked with another Less active and made a return appointment to come back and see her. Then we went finding. We went knocking on doors and met a lot of potentials. We then met Ray. We talked to him about the restoration and he tries to understand it. He likes to stick to the bible but we are going back to see him this week. The I went with Sister Wood to see our recent convert Erik. We talked to him about the word of wisdom and he has been breaking it. So we put him on a plan to stop chewing. He is wanting to quit. It was a great exchange. 

Wednesday: We had our District Meeting. We learned about planning and how to plan more effective. I learned a better way to plan so that God can place people in our lives. Then we Went and saw Bill we talked to him about prayer and how it is important to pray with real intent to have God answer our prayers. 

Thursday: We went and helped Peggy with her yard. She is having some parties so we helped her to make it look pretty. She is so great!! We love her. Next week we are going to start teaching her about the Gospel.. Service will lead to new investigators. After that we went to a members house for dinner. It was great. 

Friday: We did our weekly planning and then a member wanted to take us out to lunch. We went to this diner and it was great. Then we came home and went finding. It was great. We talked to a couple people and we were able to plant the seed. after that we went to see Bill at a members house. We talked about the Plan of Salvation. He enjoyed that he likes going and having lessons at the members house. 

Saturday: We went to meet with AJ our investigator on date for August 29th. We went to drive to his  house and main street was closed. They were having the Lone Ranger Festival. It is crazy. There was a parade and everything. We couldn't go because we had our meeting. We met with AJ and taught him about the Plan of Salvation. He has recently lost a couple cousins so this lesson was really good. The spirit was so strong and he knows that he will see his family again. 

Sunday: we went to church. It was a great Sabbath. We fasted for our investigator Bill to have the temptation of smoking to being gone. It was great. We then did our studies and training.
