It was so much fun. The little kids love the gospel and love to tell you about it. After that we went and saw Bill our investigator. We read the talk Desire by Elder Oaks. It is a great talk. Then we committed him to be baptized on November 21. So that was super exciting.

Then we were walking to go finding and it poured rain. It was fun but no one really was home or answered the door.

She is so ready to learn the truth and really excited to read the Book of Mormon. She wants to know how she can become better and improve her life. After that we went finding and then to see Erik. He was baptized a couple months ago. We talked to him about the conference and about starting to read the Book of Mormon everyday.

Conference- Oct. 5, 2015

Hey everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your week!!! This is how my week went:

Monday: We had our district Activity. It was a lot of fun!! We played Volleyball and then Chair Soccer. It was fun but very tiring. We then had a meeting with one of our investigators Bill. We met with him and talked about conference and what it was and he seemed very interested. We then went to stop by a potential investigator named Susan. She was home and we were able to teach her about the restoration and the Book of Mormon. The spirit was so strong. The lesson went great. She is very interested in learning and wants to come to church. It was a very spiritual lesson.

Tuesday: We had most of our appointments cancel so we did a lot of finding and contacting. It was a long day. We talked to people but no one was really interested in learning more about the gospel.

Wednesday: Was our last District Meeting as a District. I gave an instruction on Alma and the sons of Mosiah. It went great. I talked about how we need to teach our investigators and Less actives about how we can all repent and change and preach the gospel. It was great. Then we went to a Cider Mill. President Gerber kept telling us all to go to one and try the cider and donuts, so we went. It was great. The cider is very good. Then we went and saw Bill. He was doing good. We talked about the scriptures and how he can apply them to his life. The lesson went great.

Thursday: We went to Almont. We met with Holly first. We talked about the Women's Conference and then the General Conference. She was excited to watch the conference. Then we met with Arlene. She was just getting out of the hospital. We talked with her about the Book of Mormon and how it can help her in her trials and her hard times. The Book of Mormon can help each of us to become closer to God.

Friday: We did our weekly planning and then we watered Peggy's flowers. Her yard is so pretty. We helped her to water them and she really appreciates it. Then we went and did some finding and contacting. I am starting to get the hang of contacting. It is still hard.

Saturday: Was conference. We watched conference at the church, so it was a long drive. It takes about 35 minutes to get to the church, but it was worth it. Conference was great. I really enjoyed it. Some of my favorite talks from Saturday was Elder Lawrence's. He talked about the holy ghost and how it is different for everyone. It was great to hear from him again. He came to our mission a couple weeks ago so it was great to hear him speak again.

Sunday: We watched the other sessions of conference. I really liked President Monson's talk about letting out light shine and to be an example. I also liked President Eyrings talk on the holy ghost and how we need to desire to have it with us at all times. In between sessions the Elders had a baptism. It was great to be apart of that. We had Bill come to the baptism and he really enjoyed it.

Well I love you all and hope you all have a great week!!!
