Snow, Snow, Snow- April 11, 2012

Hey Everyone!! This week has been great, except for the SNOW!! We got snow Friday Saturday and Sunday!! But luckily it has melted. Which is good.

This week has been great. We have seen lots of miracles. We found a new Investigator. Her name is June. She is a sweet older lady. She has recently been going through some hard times. She lost her Twin Sister and her Nephew so we taught her The Plan of Salvation. It was a great lesson. She really loves that she will see them again. She is doing great. We were also able to put our Investigator Tim Bruton on date for Baptism. He is super excited and ready. He loves to learn and loves to pray. He is on date for May 15. We are excited for him.

We also went on exchanges with Sister Edmond's and Sister Burleson. It was great. Sister Burleson came here and I stayed here. We were able to meet with our investigator Robin Ames. We talked to her about prayers and how she has received answers. It was great. She has been praying and wants to grow in her testimony. We also met with a Less Active Sister Delossanto. We talked to her about trails and also reviewed the Restoration with her. She is having a hard time with her foster children but she is praying with them and teaching them about Jesus. It is great.
Then we had Stake Conference and that was great. I really enjoyed the talk about remembering the times we have felt the spirit. I am working on always remembering these sweet times in my life.  We also had Zone meeting where we learned different ways to offer service and to find those that God is preparing. In Studies I have been working on the different finding approaches and working on questions. It is going great. I am learning new ways to approach people. We are doing great.

Miracle: This week we went to see our investigator Tim. We started with talking to him about the Book of Mormon, he then said that while watching conference he saw a light and it was the holy ghost conferring the truth and answering his prayers. Then we extended the invitation to be baptized. He agreed right away and knows this is how he can come closer to God. It is amazing how God answers prayers and prepares us to teach his children.
