Hey everyone I hope you all had a great 24th of July. Here in Michigan they don't really celebrate the 24th so we just had a normal day!!!

Monday: We had our P-day. We decided to go to Donut Burger. Sister Cruz told me about this place and I thought it sounded gross. It is a hamburger place but they use donuts as buns. Well it is so good. it sounds nasty but it was so good. Then we went and saw Eric our recent convert. We talked to him about patriarchal blessings and gave him some talks to read over. It went great. He is so funny. After that we went and saw Bill. We taught him about overcoming his addiction to smoking. We gave him a program to help him to quit. He is doing better and wanting to be baptized.

Tuesday: We went and saw Sister Robertson, she is a less active. We taught her about Law of chastity and to live it. This lesson is always awkward to teach but it is something you just go with. The lesson went great.

Wednesday: We had District Meeting and I gave an instruction on the Prayer of Faith. It turned out so good. I just went with the spirit. I was actually suppose to instruct on another topic but this is something that God knew we needed to hear and talk about. After that we went see Bill. We went over the baptism interview questions. He is getting there and wanting to make the change in his life to become better.

Thursday: We went and helped Peggy our investigator. It is so great to help her with her yard or helping her to do service. It feels so great to help others. We then went finding. It has been hot and humid and so finding is always fun!!!

Friday: We did our weekly planning. Went and visited with a less active and taught him a little about scripture study and the importance of doing those simply things to become better and to feel of Gods love. We then went to a members house and had our lesson with Bill. It was great. We talked about Prayer and showed a video on the importance of it. The members family was amazing.

Saturday: We went to Almont and visited with our investigator A.J. He is so ready to be baptized and he loves learning and loves coming to church. We talked to him about the Word of Wisdom and he has been sober from everything for 7 years. It was a great lesson. He is on date to be baptized on Aug 29.

Sunday: Was church. It was great. An Elder from the ward just came back from his mission in japan. He told of all his experiences and they were great. Here is a little analogy that he shared with us from a General Authority that came to visit: You are walking down the road and then you come to stop there is a giant rock in your way, Jesus Christ is standing next to you and tells you to push the rock. After many attempts you give up and say to Jesus," I cant move the Rock'. Jesus says, " I didn't tell you to move the rock, I said to push the rock, moving the rock is my job." Jesus is our savior and he is there to help us through our life's he doesn't tell us to push through life with out his help. He is there to help us move or continue on with his help.

Well I love you all!!! Have a great Week!!
